Chargebacks and Refunds

There are a lot of reasons for chargebacks and we can help with getting that from the credit card company. Chargebacks represent a form of customer protection, allowing credit card holders to dispute a transaction and to reclaim their money, provided their Chargeback claim is approved and accepted by the client’s credit card company. An online trading Chargeback will essentially void the transaction through which the trader made his/her deposit with the broker, forcibly removing the funds from the broker’s account and returning it to the balance of the credit card holder. Online trading platforms are known to make their investors fill out consent forms which make it impossible for the Chargeback claim to be approved in favor of the investor. Chargeback is one of the tactics we use in recovering funds within the 120 days window from the date of deposit to the broker.

Chargeback process

Once your bank’s dispute department is in agreement that your payment is eligible to be disputed, it will log your request with the credit card company, which then alerts the acquiring bank. The acquiring bank, in turn, alerts the payment service provider (PSP). The PSP informs the merchant, which in this case is the binary options firm. The merchant then has 45 calendar days to respond. If no response is provided, your permanent refund will automatically be made on the 46th day.

If a response is filed, it will be forwarded back to you in a reverse process. Visa or Mastercard will then ask you for your response, and the process is repeated. If Visa does not accept either version of the disputed transaction, it will be sent for arbitration. Mastercard does not have a second round and the dispute automatically goes to arbitration if it does not accept one of the two versions.

How to identify binary scam

Binary option scams and fake binary option brokers have deals that are too good to be true. Their headlines are always catchy, luring a lot of people into sending lots of money without any plans of making money for you. Also, the trader is always pushy to make a deposit so business can start, but they just keep asking for more and more showing you what you want to see, their mostly used tactic is greed.

Also, once you have made a deposit without confirming the authenticity of the broker, you can ask for a withdrawal and see how that goes, which is the final red flag of knowing if you have been scammed.

How to identify a scam in cryptocurrency investment

There are many dubious businesses out there that have slapped together a blockchain asset for the novelty, not because it will actually serve a purpose or be a healthy investment. Here are some tips for spotting ICOs with bad intentions.

A technical white paper is a project’s opportunity to be transparent, insightful, and explain the importance of their contribution to blockchain without trying to confuse you. If an ICO or forked asset doesn’t have a white paper, or their white paper is full of jargon and has more graphic design than actual words, beware.

Other fake investment would leech of the name of another real investment or famous asset to lure people into their web of lies.
